Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze for the balance beam. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to win the most number of medals at the Olympics. She took gold for team at the 2016 Olympics and made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Also, she received silvers for individual all-around and floor exercises. She took a three-year break between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who passed away from cancer.
